My best friend just had her left lung removed. They moved her out of ICU yesterday--I stumbled on your blog today. Something seems provodential about that. Please don't post my comment--but if you-as someone who has been there--would join me in prayer for Joye--and Kent--and Alicia, Joel, and Anna--that would be comforting to me. Joye is a stay at home home school Mom. She wanted me (an RN) to tell her how soon after the surgery she would be able to resume looking after the kids schoolwork. I don't think that she believed me when I said a minumum of 2 weeks of nothing but sleep, eat food that someone else cooks, butterfly kisses, trips to the bathroom, very gentle hugs, maybe an at home movie night if she gets the whole couch. Do you concur or am I too cautious?? Thanks!
