Mommyville: prayer request

My thoughts and prayers are with the Steven Curtis Chapman Family today as they are mourning the loss of their 5 year old daughter.

I can't say it better than a friend did a couple of years ago when our community lost a child, so I will borrow her words...

To all of you who have children, hug them tight, right now. There is no reason to wait, ever.

Billy Graham's Prayer for our Nation

'Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on his radio program, 'The Rest of the Story,' before he died and received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired. With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and wholeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be called 'One nation under God…'
