Snow Day

I tried this new recipe for my cookie exchange it was a long and tedious process for dainty cookies. I don't know if I would do it again. The checkerboards gave me heck and I ended up making striped cookies and then marbles with the rest of the dough.
Marble cookies:)
Salted nut chews. Ryan's favorite.
8:30 am. The kids were out sledding in a blizzard.

They lasted 15 minutes.

I can promise you I would never attempt those cookies. I would love to have that peanut recipe, though.

The red and green pinwheels were MUCH easier. I may attempt them again. The kids love the dough. Funny, it is just simple sugar cookie dough. But they eat it without frosting and sprinkles. That may be motivation for me to try them again and again.
